Line 6 "joins" Yamaha

I like my Yamaha RGX421D a lot. I've had it for about 16 or 17 years now. A friend of mine used to swear that it felt really close to his Ibanez RG's. Everything is still stock with the exception of the potentiometers. I changed them from 250k's to 500K's. It's in excellent shape. I had stopped playing for about 10 years after my first two kids were born so it sat in a case. Sorry for the crappy cell pics..

I think most of the hate Line6 gets is from people who are never happy with "good enough", they want "the best", and Line6 and Yamaha are actually GREAT at being "good enough" with a decent price tag.
It's like that infamous Rise to Addiction PODxt tone test that Andy recorded: It was amazing, but why settle with that when you have a Krank?
Unrelated, but Boss is owned by Roland, so I guess it's a market they want to keep toe-to-toe with the competition.

Played a show with a band a few weeks back and the guitarist had some Line 6 head, not sure which one, but the thing sounded fucking awesome.

My first guitar was a yamaha acoustic I got 18 years ago, I still own it today and it sounds amazing.

Also Recently I was ABing monitors at a local music store and compared the yamaha HS8s to my KRK8s and the difference was night and day, the low end was much clearer through the yamahas
