I am not sure what I want to buy, these are my three ideas:

1) The new Yamaha 5-string RBX775
2) Upgrading to fullstack (1x15)
3) Any kind of preamp (maybe bass pod by Line 6)

What do you guys think?

I'd rather buy Tech21's Sansamp RBI than the Line6 BassPod.

The RBI has an insanely accurate tube emulation, which is NOT digital.

Personally, I love my Custom Warwick Thumb 4 string, and wouldn't hesitate to order a 5 string thru them, if the model I wanted didn't cost so much money. Love the tone and the playability...

For amps, I'd go with Ampeg... never been much of a fan of SWR... Mesa makes a nice Bass head...

I got an Ampeg pro series 4x10 HLF, and the thing pushes massive amounts of air.

I'd reccomend any of this gear to anyone.

I'm very particular about the guitars (and basses I play).

I could care less what brand they are, but once I play something I love, I'll stick with it until I find something better.

I really liked the Ibanez Ergodyne 600 series, but it looked kinda weird, and I couldn't get an inconsistency of fret buzz out of 3 different models I took home, then later brought back.

P-Basses play nice, but I like having 2 octave necks....

go to your local store and try every bass you see

I like Zon basses with composite necks(graphite or something), warwicks, 7-strings conklins........... but those ones are too expensive for me......

i think that if you want to talk about basses you should go to talkbass.com, that forum have helped me a lot!!!!!!
