Line 6 Spider Valve or ?

We are starting to do gigs and was wondering if a Line 6 spider valve would be a good live amp. I love the idea of having those effects right at my fingertips (dial in your own presets)...going from delayed cleans to high gains is what I am looking for. I do have a windsor and 5150 tube amps but would like to leave those at home just for recording.

Looking at the hd147 or vetta or spider or maybe the axe fx???

Anything with Spider on the front makes me want to run a mile. For some reason they decided to take the worst of the high gain models from the POD and put them into that amp.
HD147 or Vetta would be mcuh better imo.
