Line6 gained a ball sack?

Some of the tubes on rectos/5150 and other high gain amps are used for loop buffer/phase inverter.

Amps with a ton of preamp tubes usually use some of them for reverb and what not also.

I can confirm that both the POD X3 and X3 Live are being released very soon, my store has them on order with a price of £349 on the bean version (I can't remember the price on the Live). From what I've been told the info on Vettaville.nl is correct, with the two units covering bass and guitar effects. Also, the guys at Line 6 told me that we will almost 100% certain see a Krank model in the POD.

I'll be picking one up as soon as they come in store, being able to run two rigs at once in a single POD will be amazing!!

pod x3 huh? What are the details on it?? Like backmask said.....as soon as the make it customizable like putting your own impulses on it, I will own it!!!

Meh, won't be upgrading to the X3 if that's all that's new. If I wanted a TonePort or a Vetta, I'd have one. Zzzzzz

The internal rumours were of next gen modelling, it seems like they just gave up with the X3.

The main selling point is that it's a single POD for bass, guitar and vox, with the ability to run either channel independant of the other (vox and guitar for the singer songwriters out there, bass and guitar for scratch tracks in the studio).

I'll be picking one up, but that's because I love the two channel thing on the Vetta and really want to try out the new Krank model!!

Looks like you get a bigger display with the X3, oooooooooooooooo:rolleyes:

I wish they made it easier to use with a head, my PodXt Pro is a pain in the ass to use in a loop. the output is always lower than the input, so i get a volume drop when i kick the FX loop in, plus a weird combfilter when i use it w/distortion. I thought was just the Mesa Fx loop Circuit so I brought my old processor out of retirement (ART-SGX Nitro) and have no problems or sound altertion.

Sounds pretty damn good to be fair. Not so sure on the higher gain sounds there, but for the clean/crunch tones thats certainly got some lush warmth to it.

WHAT?
haha.

Nobody noticed the sizzly-ness or that it sounds like a pod with too much fucking reverb??

I can tell the tone is there to be had. Whether this guy can dial in good tone or not is a matter of taste really. I don't think it sounds amazing by any stretch, though, just decent.
