Line6 X3

I would't go for it now because it still as some glitches and no editor. I´de wait and see the bugs fixed.
It seems that the bean is more reliable than floorboard, which has been having a lot of problems (check out the L6 forum).
appart from that it seems the same techonology and despite some say that it sounds a little bit different i am not convinced of that.
I´d say the big feature is the dual tone concept, but i´d like to see if they put out a proX3.

definitelly, NO!. I tried it on a workshop and left very dissapointed. It's smaller and lighter because it is..made of plastic. The kind it breaks very easy... The editor, the menu is rather complicated than friendly.. the only addition that is worth is that it includes some of the packs patches, like criminal, insane, etc... This and a few more knobs (too many) and connectors... The pedal switches resemble tonelab but more insecure, etc... anyway, that's my opinion, i stick to xt live for live purposes.

The X3 is crap, rushed to market. Line 6 needs to come out with new firmware, not just keep iterating on the same shit. The X3 is just re-hashed stuff from the XT. Dual-tone never sounds good to me either, it's a gimmick and I would never use it for recording.

The PRO has XLR out, line in, balanced/unbalanced, ground lift, effects loop, AES/EBU and SPDIF digital in/outs, and more. The rest is the same on both.
