Listen to Songs and Rate Them

While not having time to participate in the listening and rating for the time being, I'd just like to say that this is a very good thread.

Nice one, Anthrax_Mosher!

^6/10 - Pretty catchy, not exactly my thing.

Here's the song I listened to the most last year. :kickass:

^ 2.5/10 Dude that sounded like a circus of drunk inbred hillbillies.

Here's a trve black metal song:

^ 1/10 by and large, boring as fuck

2/10 Dimmu Burger is not trve enough.

Unlike you, I couldn't give a fuck how true a band is to 'the scene', only if the music's good. And don't be fooled, early Dimmu is authentic symphonic black metal.

But here, maybe this is trve enough for your standards:

I didn't say it, you did.

8/10 Yes! Good ol' Mayhem before they became a parody of themselves.

next, an underrated Kiss tune sung by Ace!:

That was actually nice, very Acey, although on his milder side. :) 7/10

Two versions of the same song, along the years. Tormentor, but not performed by "Tormentor" (Kreator). Destruction!

^8/10 The above is pretty metal cool! Would have been even better faster and crunchier! Fun metal song, and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing. :)

I remember shedding tears of excitement when I heard this song live, for the first time, on THIS very show, recorded below (I didn't record it, though). NYC, Nokia Theatre, now BestBuy Theatre (where Anthrax will be performing this upcoming Feb. 8, 2012). Never imagined I would listen the Kreator play this live ever in my life!

And because I realize the sound in the above live video is craptastic, here's the original. Nothing beats a live Kreator performance, though.

I love Mille's "AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH" at the beginning of many of their songs, especially on this one!
