...and give me a brief feedback about mixing issues that I should focus on.

The vocals are still to come, but I'd like to improve the instrumentals in advance.
So here it is:

Hi,

Unless it's what you're after, I'd say the mix lacks clarity in
the low-end (especially bass & kicks).

However, that is secondary as I hear a few playing issues here and there
as well as "punch-ins" that have not been faded properly (e.g. 01:20).

Hope this helps,

Hope this helps,
Yes it does. Thank you!
Funny how I’ve never heard these two or three weird punch-ins until you mentioned them.
Now they seem totally obvious to me.
I hope that I can fix them.

What exactly do you mean by playing issues?
Timing-wise? Tightness? Or more like general playing-technique?

Could it be that the lacking low end clarity is caused by a little too much low-end in the bass guitar?
I guess I will find out when I tame the lows a little and increase the volume of the bass-grit track some more.

The thing with punch-ins, playing etc … we get engrossed in what
we do (especially when we record ourselves) and often forget to see
things from a different perspective (eg. a new listener). Stepping away for
a few days then coming back to it always reveals a lot.

By playing I mean some timing issues, yes.

And what you said about the lowend, if you are happy with your DI, sounds like a good starting point.

Cheers,
Than
