Little Blondies SDC?

Anyone tried those mics? A lot of people on Gearslutz say nice things about it. I may need some OHs soon and my budget is very short, so if they're good, it might be an option

Never used mice as overheads.. I can't imagine they'd give a great sound. Would make everything sound squeaky and cheesy

I bought a pair of Little Blondies and they're very cool mics. The sound is very musical, very smooth, but it's not very focused - it's more of a big, open sound. I probably wouldn't recommend them for metal, hard rock, etc., but they're awesome for more mellow stuff or for slower tunes.

They would indeed, though they are omnidirectional so they'll pick up the rest of the kit quite a bit, which I personally wouldn't want in a hat mic.

very tempting for the price
