Hi, people.

I'm new here and really got amazed by this forum, it seems there's so much things going around.
I've been looking for guidance and wisdom around Metal production in some other places for a long time, but was never really able to find it, for lack of interest in the genre, or just lack of interest in helping.

Seeing people's stuff here gives me more confidence to really try improve my skills in production, which as of now are merely extreme basic, because I see people using the same starting point and achieving amazing results.
Hope you guys could help me a bit also. Thanks!

One of my main concerns nowadays are about my drums. I've been using a kit from Old DFH Multiformat which suited me quite fine for it's tones. But I often feel that it lacks presence, wetty feel and more dynamics (due the lack of velocities per piece, per example). I recorded this as an example (don't bother about the guitars, they're synth guitars with some amp. this is another problem I maybe ask for help with later, maybe...)
I guess i found some volume, impact. But, I guess some feedback from experienced people with metal production could give me some tip regarding production itself.

Thanks in advance. :kickass:
