Hey,
You guys have been talking about shooting for a live DVD.
Is the shooting already planned for an upcoming scheduled show, or will this take place at a yet to be determined show?

Just curious.

No nude dvd or photo shoots for us, thank you.

Seriously, we've been talking and planning on doing the live DVD for ages. It's at the point where I dread bringing it up anymore because we never manage to get to the next level of making it happen. Personally for me, I'd love to get this done more than almost anything else. Every time we start to make plans to really get it going, some other shit comes up that we have to do first, and once again the DVD gets put on the backburner.

With any luck, we'll at least get some serious plans together soon for the filming of it. There's alot of details that have to be handled on something like this if we're to do it right, and not just throw something crappy looking and sounding together. I'll definitely let people know once we've gotten over the next hurdle and this all starts coming together. We will most definitely need as many of you as possible to be there if and when we film. NO MORE EXCUSES, people! lol

Hmmm. Kind of a shame that a band would not want to film in their hometown. Though after the past couple local shows, I can't say I blame you. For some reason, Chicago doesn't have the most loyal scene.

Personally, I thought the Wheaton Grand Theater was a cool venue. I guess aside from the fact there was no alcohol. I love seeing shows in old movie theaters. It really adds a lot to the whole ambience (sp?), and works well esp with darker music.

Wheaton theater would be a cool looking place to film, if a decent enough crowd could be had there for such a thing, and the stage was fixed up a bit.

I think many bands tend to film their live DVDs based moreso on where they have a good following as opposed to it being their hometowns. It seems such a common occurance that bands often aren't appreciated as much in their hometown as they are abroad. The best crowds we've played to have generally been in the New England area and places like Toronto. We've done some good local shows over the years but it does seem to be very hard to get a consistently good turnout here. Plus there's only so many venues around here that would work well for filming a live DVD. But, yeah, the Wheaton theater could be a consideration, if done properly.

Isn't that what Vito does for a living?

Haha, I forgot I put that in my bio. Actually Paul and Larry being the assholes they are, told some German magazine that I actually really did shoot gay porn or some bullshit like that. I'd like to see the german to english translation on that one lol.
