:headbang: How many of you out there prefer "live" to "studio" albums? I for one prefer the LIVE cuz the sound production seems to be better all around. The guitars are fuller, the pounding of the double bass kicks, the THUNDERIN bass......the vocals sound more "round"..........so how 'bout you?

:headbang:

I'm usually not a big fan of live albums with a few execptions. Slayer's Decade of Aggression is probably my favorite live album.

usually live albums do the band no justice, pantera 101 proof was cool but still done little justice to pantera live in the flesh.

but what can u expext i spose, capturing the energy live on tape must be a damn hard task.

I prefer studio. But live can be cool. I do want a new live Anthrax CD.

I've had Decade of Aggression in my CD changer for the last week.:headbang:

It depends on what band it is. Like Dream Theater live albums are way cooler because they do so much more with the song. But then agian vocals aren't as good because they can't clean them up as much and the singer gets tired. But live Solo's are badass. Or when a band has a jam session with members of the other band they're touring with. That rules.
