What an FA CUP FINAL!!! It was Istanbul all over again!

My hats off to the Hammers - gave us an absolute fight of our lives - to their fans too - you are a class act.

I am completely exhausted after last night - 100s of us jam packed our local pub where we sang, hugged, cried even after we won on the lottery of penalties.

Well most Reds I know want Barca to win but for my Dad and my nephew who are Gooners I am putting on my French Accent and screaming Go Les Blues ... I mean Wenger's boys

I strongly believe we will see this one go to Penalties with Lenhman winning it for you. Barca to dominate yet continually be frustrated by the German in goal.

Id like to support Arsenal tonight, ive always suppported British clubs in Europe (with the exception of Chelski and England at the world cup of coarse ) but im more of a Barca fan. I loved watching Larsson play when he was with Celtic (even though he was normally terrorising Aberdeen) and it would be a fitting end to his "top flight" career if he finished with a CL winners gong. It didn't matter, Barcelona was better, that is it. You can blame it on the coach, on the defence, and, especially, on the strikers, but at the end we, I think, saw it all - Barcelona was much much better, even despite all the shit the ref was throwing to us. Henry alone couldn't possibly save the game, and he was really great, and the whole team was great, they stood up for 70+ something min resisting before the first goal. And the second goal was just a matter of time... Great game, Arsenal!!!
Still I've got to say - there's no league like English Premier League. Even if we loose we do it in style...

So fucking proud of the guys, they fought hard and although I think they were a tad unlucky they were never gonna be able to withstand that pressure for the 90 minutes. I would have preferred the advantage to be played, the goal to stand and Mad Jens to stay on cause once down to ten we were never gonna be able to play our game. It's a shame cause up til that point it was looking like a real cracker but that's football.

It will be interesting to see if Henry still signs for Barca after his comments about them last night.

Anyhow, still gutted and extremely hung over but as i said proud of my team, we'll be there or there abouts next season me thinks!

He basically said the Ref was a cheat and.....................in fact wait here's some quotes from the paper.

I have to say that i was dissapointed in what Henry said, it's not like him. The ref was shit but it wasn't just arsenal that were affected. He was just gutted as we all were but i'm sure he will appologise for his comments in time.

Anyway, i pray to the good lord above that he decides to stick with us, if he does I think we'll be challenging on all fronts next season.
