Master of Disguise is a good one but really, all of them were pretty consistent. I had all of them on cassette a while back but haven't converted them to CD yet. Live At The Murderess Metal Road Show is a good way to hear a lot of their stuff in one chunk. Hope this helps...

I like them all! :) Here is what I think of them...

Give 'Em The Axe (1984) - Awesome 4 song EP. Tons of cool attitude, raw LA metal! Love the title track! Also a cool Rainbow cover tune.
Love You To Pieces (1985) - Lots of cool songs but the production doesn't do justice, a bit thin I think. American Metal and Save Me are definite standouts.
Murderess Metal Road Show (1986) - Cool live album... Lizzy sounds great! But the production is a bit too flat again, needs a bit more punch and explosiveness.
Menace To Society (1986) - Haven't really gotten all that much into this one all that much. Production is far better than Love You To Pieces but the songs haven't grown on me as much yet.
Terror Rising (1987) - Another cool EP with a few remixes, live stuff and new tracks which are pretty cool.
Visual Lies (1987) - Yep you have this and you know it rocks heheh. Far more solid all round than the early ones, but the early ones have an extra charm/attitude about them I think.
Master Of Disguise (1989) - The best Lizzy album in my opinion! A bit different to the others, very Alice Cooper influenced with lots of conceptual stuff, heaps of keyboards, very dark sounding album! Awesome songs, awesome production, great musicianship, definitely my fave Lizzy album! Never Too Young is one of the all time best metal ballads!
Deal With The Devil (2000) - Surprisingly great comeback album! The first 3 tracks pretty much pick up where Visual Lies had left off... straight forward '80s heavy metal! Fast and furious, full of twin guitar harmonies, great vocals, classic Lizzy sound and attitude! After those 3 tracks it starts to vary a bit more... has a couple of cover tunes (including an Alice cover), a couple of chugging heavy songs, a couple of '80s hard rockish tracks (Lovin' You Is Murder RULES!), and a couple of more modern sounding ones.

Hope that helps :)

Great band right here. They are quickly becoming one of my favorites. I so far own Love You To Pieces, Visual Lies, and The Best of Lizzy Borden. It is all amazing stuff and I plan on owning every single album. American Metal is my favorite metal anthem of all time.

Yep American Metal is brilliant!

Hearts of stone, skull and crossbones, we band together
The sound of steel, the noise you can feel, the smell of leather!
Suspendered thighs, blackened cat eyes, we love to shout!
The power's in the crowd, coz we all, we all, love it... LOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!

:headbang:

When listening to American Metal if it's cranked loud enough I get the chills when Lizzy screams "LOOOOOUUUUUUUUUDD"! So amazing!

Other favorites are "Council For The Caldron", "Psychopath", and "Eyes Of A Stranger"

Yeah me too! One of the coolest metal screams around that one!!!

Great songs! I really like Save Me, Give 'Em The Axe and Me Against The World too... and the whole Master of Disguise album! "Never Too Young" gives me chills!
