Local bands in YOUR city

Hey everyone, I'm looking to listen to some good, young, talented metal or rock bands and I know that there are a lot of bands that are undiscovered and playing in a city near you (I know there are here in TX). If anyone has any good recommendations (and good websites), it'd be greatly appreciated.

I put up a link to my friends band and his ex-band from the neighbouring town in another thread at the forum. His name is Andreas "Dea" Carlsson and he´s really talanted. Anyway I´ll write it again so you can check his shit out.

Paganizer is a death metal band that Dea used to play in, the singer/guitarplayer Rogga is doing some of the vocals on the new Edge of Sanity album: www.paganizer.com

Anotherlife - Deas current soloproject/band. Moody metal with Dan Swanö on keyboards and drums. http://fly.to/anotherlife

Shifty Hawk - Don´t know much about these guys, consists mainly of ex-Pagnaizer people (including Dea), hardrock... a touch of Monster Magnet and late style Carcass. Unfortynently their site havn´t got any samples yet: http://www.listen.to/shiftyhawk
