Except leeches and bottled this is a good setlist, imo. I saw In Flames live this summer and the songs that was the coolest were Crawl through knives and Come clarity. These song are a must, even if they are far from my favorite songs they create a sing along.
So i dont blame in flames for having these songs on the setlist.

And yes i heard the new COB song today. I like it, not catchy at all. But the sound is fucking amazing and the mixing! FTR is my fav album too!

That is not the worst setlist I've heard of. Minus Bottled and Leeches and you have a decent set there.

The new COB doesn't suck "donkey balls" - it's actually all right imo. They've produced worse. No band can be 100% perfect and create hits every single time as you would wish them to.

Your enthusiasm is appreciated though

BTW, just because the setlist isn't perfect doesn't mean the show can't still kick ass. I've seen and heard crap setlists that sounded great because of how the band played. I've also seen the perfect setlist demolished by a crappy performance (ie Motley Crue on the Lewd, Crued, and Tattooed DVD).

i care because their old material is legendary and they changed their sound by transferring all the melodies to big sing-a-long choruses and ruined their name. thats why.

Fair enough. Their old material is legendary yes, but if you look at that list there is really only two songs you should change.. And I think everyone has been a nu fan of something at one point in their life, no matter how much you may try to deny it..

You'll be hard pressed to find fans who don't like songs such as Only For The Weak, My Sweet Shadow, Episode 666, pretty much anything from their newer albums. Some people see it as a transition and like it. Others, like yourself see it as talentless crap.

But you cannot change it so why make a huge deal about it.. that is their set. It's what they want to play so let them. The bottom line simply would be that if you don't like it, tough shit.

zombie inc has all the elements that made in flames so untouchable back in the day. amazing, blazing riffs, an unbelievable melody, some of the best lyrics anders penned, and that solo is the best one they have. much better than december flower's solo. the only other song that comes close would be Jotun, perhaps Everdying or Stand Ablaze

Zombie inc is an average song really. Resin is probably the best one from the colony.

Entire Whoracle CD pretty much slays anything else though.

That being said I love new stuff as well...it's called being open-minded to change. If you don't like it then you have 2 options:

1) Stop listening to them (utterly stupid if them changing is the rason but whatever)
2) Just listen to old stuff and nevermind the people who enjoy old+new in flames, AND don't go around the internet posting this just to stir up shit cuz that makes you even more retarded, AND use your energy on sth productive instead of bitterness.
