THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: Sometimes, it's good to just step away from the "grind" of doing a show each week and do something that's fun and different. This week is going to be no exception. Instead of doing a standard show this week, we're going to sit down with legendary rock journalist Lonn Friend and simply let him regail us in the insanity that has been his career as the editor of the "Bible Of Bang", RIP Magazine. We'll be doing a very special CMS Takeover #9 show guest hosted by Lonn. We're sure he'll have plenty of stories to tell us all about the life and times we'll never know with bands like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Bon Jovi and more. Lonn's book, LIFE ON PLANET ROCK, details some of these stories, but as Lonn told us when he was on the show a few months ago, it only scratches the surface of what can be talked about.
