'sright -- we got us a puppy! He's 12 weeks old and he's all ears and paws, flopping all over. Tinkerbell has her nose out of joint over it and doesn't want to like him, but she's a very protective and forgiving auntie. The cat, of course, isn't currently speaking to me -- LOL she slept next to me on the bed all night with one ear swiveled back. This last pic is the face he was giving the cat, trying to charm her, while she hissed and growled at him. He's just a baby, and we've taken to referring to him as "tagalong" or "my shadow" because he follows so closly that you smack him in the chin sometimes with your heel just walking.

We were really just "window shopping" and he chose us -- in fact he responded instantly to the sound of Paul's voice and popped up over the puppy enclosure every time he heard him and, well, what were we supposed to do -- who could deny that face?! The only down side is that he REALLY likes cords and, dear God, have we got cords! LOL! I'm going to get the Costco size bottle of Bitter apple and roll up my sleeves.

Just be aware that some breeds like the bitter apple. Learned that the hard way with a boxer.

Yeah -- Tinkerbell doesn't care one way or another, but Vern used to throw himself on the living room floor in a total drama fit, so I'm hoping...

Edit: Oh, yeah and

Although I am flattered, I'm not cleaning that up. ;)
