I was having a mooch around this hot new thing they call Myspace.com and i found our wonderful chaps and chapess Area 54 on there - thanks to the link on the front page!

F**k me - have you seen the friends list? Apart from my rather dashing photo (yeah, the grey "no photo" image - most of my pics look that way), Lacuna Coil have made themselves friends. Lacuna Coil are not exactly Metallica sized, but they're a damn cool band for the most part.

Maybe that lot can support 54 on their next tour?

They picked the greatest tracks to play on Myspace, I have to say. Just top it off with Overload from NVS, and we're laughing!

EDIT: Also, Mastodon! ROOORGH! 54 could have opened for them at the Mean Fiddler, better than Burst or whoever it was. And lots and lots of other great bands are on the friends list too! All it would need is a tiny plug from Black Sabbath, and they'd be well in there! Deservedly of course, but a little backing from a monster band like them would be super awesome
