What are some songs that you think have great, or maybe even classic-grade guitar solos? And what are some of the songs that have some of best solos by the bands Death and Iron Maiden?

Iron Maiden... all of them!!
Megadeth... Whoa... a heck of a lot too.. all of Rust In Peace! Well, except Dawn Patrol
In Flames - December Flower
Children Of Bodom... Umm.. pick any song and be amazed
Ozzy.. well any stuff... Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde are all amazing guitarists!!
My brains hurts from working all day.. so I can't think of anymore without really looking!

i cant belive no one said three of the greatist guitar gods of all time ok if you want good solos just about any song by yngwie malmsteen, just about any song by joe satriani, and just about any song by steve vai.

Satch abnd Vai are great

Malmsteen's solos aren't good though in my opinion. Great technical ability, little creative ability. They just aren't memorable except maybe Black Star.

Some Godly solos (particularly "Baby Please Don't Go") from John Sykes and Scott Gorham on Lizzy's heaviest album

Gary Moore - Dirty Fingers
His solo on "Hiroshima" is one of his best ever.

Loudness - Disillusion
Akira Takasaki is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. His work on this album is awsome.

Impellteri - Stand In Line
The guy sounds like Yngwie, but has more feel. If you like early Rainbow, you'll love this.

Scorpions - Virgin Killer, Taken By Force, Fly To the Rainbow, Tokyo Tapes, In Trance
Uli is GOD!!! BUY OR DIE!!

Uli Jon Roth's solos on the Scorpions "Fly to the Rainbow"

and the aforementioned Michael Schenker's on just about any version of Rock Bottom, also on Love to Love...

I loved the solos Rigor Mortis man could that guy shred too bad that they only lasted for such a short time they had an awesome sound.
