THE BROOD reissue.

I tracked down Jon Nelson via CD Baby of all places and we have been chatting it up. Nothing is signed, although from our conversation he is pretty much down for the reissue.

IT WILL BE MASTERED FROM LP SOURCE. However, he works as an audio/film restoration specialist. So apparently the master I will get will be flawless.

Once I hear the final master I will decide if I will reissue as part of the long discussed "DIE HARD" series, which despite my hesitance would be reissues using LP masters. But if his master is flawless I would not want to lead off the series with an LP master of such high quality as what would follow would not be like that.

I am very protective of quality standards in regards to Divebomb, if you guys haven't already picked up on that.

But, back to good news. THE BROOD!!!

I hoped that you would reissue this Matt - mainly because of the Uncle Slam connection. It's a GREAT album and largely forgotten by crossover/thrash fans. It's great that it's getting the Divebomb treatment because it surely deserves it.

Now, only the No Mercy albums....I can hope can I?

hahaha, there is NO WAY i can get the No Mercy album. LOL.

Apparently The Brood was all Jon Nelson. The US guys were on the album, but not really part of the band. They told me that a few years ago or else i would have had this out sooner.
