Looking to take this mix to the next level

Hey guys, this is the first mix I've submitted here. I've been working on recording for quite a while and finally feel I'm getting to a place where I'm satisfied with a mix. My question to you are what are somethings i can do to make this more polished/ professional. Vocals are still relatively new to me. Just a pacific audio large condenser put through an apogee duet, plus some eq, compressor and space designer IRs. All instruments done by yours truly accept for the female vocals my friend Carol helped me out with. Give me any comments, feedback, suggestions or criticisms: I want to get better. Imo, best thing you can do to take a mix to the next level is develop a relationship with a mastering engineer. like, a proper one. vocals seem a little too forward for my liking. too dry.
