Well, I checked it out pretty thoroughly when I first got it and I reckon it's a pretty great release. It has some more depth than a few listens indicates.
 
It's probably being reviewed by people who don't usually listen to instrumental guitar albums. I think it kicks ass.
 
Guitar solos in place of vocals are kind of the entire point of an instrumental guitar album. I don't think it's fair at all to compare it to any Nevermore release (or anything other than instrumental guitar albums for that matter).
 
There's lots of shred, and lots of heavy grooves, but there's no one killer riff. And it's all about the riff.

I come off like a homer from time to time but my opinion is you must be musiclly RETARTED or deaf,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Listen to Miles of Machines or Azure haze or sacristy and tell us that this is wank or its not a new riff,Please do me the honor of giving these three a few more spin,s and then reply..........
