yeh for the most part i dont care too much about the people behind the art, its just funny when they complain about fans, paparazzi, interest in their lives, etc. its like, fine go be a janitor or something, i guarantee people you dont know wont give a shit if you're still friends with past co-workers.
 
Conversely, it is silly for fans to think that purchasing an album entitles you to be intimate with the band. To extend the argument further, it is silly when people imagine that they would even like a given "celebrity" if they met. Celebrity culture revolves around the fantasy of being involved in the lives of people you perceive to be much cooler and more interesting than yourself.
