Loomis, Portnoy, Downing, Khan....

I was indeed pissed not only about how Arcturus canceled, but the total lack of respect and professionalism they showed even prior to that. However, promoting the Inferno appearance less than two weeks later has taken my hatred to a level I never thought possible.

Losing good money on an investment alone is frustrating beyond words, let alone having the dudes that cost you that loss rubbing in your face. Fuck 'em.

Example 2:
They never bothered to contact me personally about the cancellation as well. I found out from my contact upon returning from vacation. He honestly didn't know the specific reason they canceled. I told him they had 48 hrs to get a press release ready to explain to the public what happened and you see the kind of bullshit they sent me. I mean hibernation sickness did suck for Han, ...but come on.

Wow... :/

I'll agree with what many have already stated; Van is a beast.

As for Jeff leaving, I wonder if this opens the door for Curran Murphy to come back. I had always heard that Warrel liked him and Jeff didn't. He's a heck of a good showman and a really nice guy.

I must admit, I'm really surprised at the way people have been slagging Nevermore's post DHiaDW output:

1. In my opinion, TGE was better than DHiaDW
2. Enemies of Reality was a very strong disc, with awful production. And from what I understand of the situation, CM is at fault for the clusterfuck that is the production.
3. The new album, while clearly a let down, in my mind is akin to Queenryche's Empire or Metallica's Black album (at least for me). What I mean by that is, all three discs were really strong discs, but none of them represented what I wanted from that band, at that time. I believe, that had The Obsidian Conspiracy been released by some unknown band, as a debut, it would have been praised to the heavens.

If Curran came back, I would be shocked. That's all I'm going to say. I know they harbor no ill will towards him, and I know Curran harbors no ill will towards them, but I can never see them working together again.

Agreed. Especially TGE, which I find to be their best album period. I can understand people not liking the new one, but I also would have to agree with you that if it didn't have the Nevermore name, people would enjoy it.
