While hiking near a city called Buyeo I came across a statue of what will be the last Buddha, the one who will come to earth and lead people to a new world. I could not help but notice the unique sign made by the fingers of Buddha's hand... HE WAS GIVING ME A METAL UP!!!!
I think the ancient scriptures must have revealed the secrets of metal many thousands of years ago. Now I'm not afraid to die, because I know Buddha will lead me to a new world of metal.:spin:
Yesterday I met up with some unversity students who are into metal, we went back to their place and jammed on some old school Metallica. It seemed like even though we couldn't really communicate with language, just saying the name of a band we liked was enough to make everybody smile.
They told me about a few Korean bands that you guys might want to check out. I have no idea of the availability, and I won't even look for it myself until I get to Seoul.

Silent Eye - these guys opened for the Children of Bodom tour here in Korea.
Othean - Korean black metal
Diablo - I actually saw these guys in Japan too, they were decent for the last bit of the set that I actually saw.
Crash - old school thrash

If I find anything else out about the metal scene here, or the salvation of man through metal, I'll be sure to post.

take it easy

In the interest of dispelling any misconceptions anyone may have about this historically significant Buddha person, which can be deepened by placing him in a western-religious context by associating him with such words/ideas as "lord" and "bless" as we have seen, I make he following statements:

Buddha was a man and never claimed to be anything more than just a man. Not only was he completely atheistic in his mindset, but he was also non-theist, he simply didn't think along what we would regard as 'religious' lines. His contributions can best be described as pertaining to psychology, philosophy, metaphysics, and guidelines for human social interaction.

well actually, after watching many a Kung Fu film it is aparent that the Buddhist monks always say when someone dies (even if they killed him) ''Buddah bless you'' as much as i know its a film, it does however keep to some sort of reality, and i dont see why they would make that up (on countless occassions). anyway, where was i?
