I was just wondering.. In LOTR, Liv Tyler (and few others) speaks both elvish and english. Now what did they do in Germany, for example? Leave Tyler's voice undubbed in those elvish parts and dub everything else or dub everything? I can't imagine elvish spoken in german accent :lol:

I'm confused... :confused:

well, in fact it is like that. the synchronisation speaker speaks elvish then.

it's not that bad, because you have no native alternative for it, but it's silly when in other films they speak english, doesn't sound!
 
So the dubber/dubbist ( :D what's the correct word?) had to learn to speak elvish, then? Wouldn't that be, like, pain in the ass, eh? I somehow remember that Tyler & co spent quite some time to get pronounciation right...
