Lowest * Wierdest tunings you've ever used?

C'mon, we've all detuned and done all sorts of unholy things to our strings in the quest to try something new on guitar, so what's the lowest style tuning and the most fucked-up tuning you've ever used?

Lowest: Drop A (A,E,A,D,F#,B)

Wierdest: Devy-style Open C (C,G,C,G,C,E), Low Octave G (G,G,C,F,A,D)

The Low Octave G is so sludgy, it's almost like Morbid Angel on downers. Only problem is, note seperation ain't so hot... You still have the rest of the strings in something playable though, so it's not too, too bad.

I use drop A constantly on one of my guitars (with jazz wound 13's on).

Otherwise nothing too wierd. I have played DADGAD on a baritone classical though, that was very cool.

Yeah we did a song in drop A as well. Just the one.

Not really into wierd tunings. Haven't done much with em.

I've played around with an Ab, Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb (low to high) tuning. You get two drop D's on the guitar, which makes for some really cool chords. Playing a fifth chord ends up being an Add 9th chord, and playing an inverted fifth chord gives you a 4th diad chord, cool shit man.

I used to tune my 7 string(when I had it) to Drop Ab. lol
