LP-long play/playability?
EP-especial... play?

uhh alls i know is that the EP's have less songs

I always thought LP was Long Play and EP was Extended Play. It doesn't make sense, so I don't know if that's right.

No actually he's right, and it does make sense, an EP is extended from a regular single, not a LP.
