by the way.....I really liked the Tristania last album.......
though it took me some time to get used to it.....with the new vocalist....
but after a while I really started to love mostly "equilibrium" and "endogenisis"......
and the gig i've seen in the m'era luna festival was great......

awesome pic. I have to tell you, this line up in Mexico is not common. I like all 3 bands, of course one more than the others... (you guess which is my favorite). 
About Tristania, I dig them but I'm more into Sirenia. I'm gonna love them live too, but for sure I won't know all of their songs. and about Kreator, I liked Enemy of God, and I worship Coma of Souls and Extreme Aggression, but they are not my favorite band.

I love Sirenia as well......
and didn't have the chance to see them live.....but I believe Tristania is better on stage......cause they have more experiance......and because they have Vibeke (she's a queen!)

Don't envy me. You are in the metal continent. Maybe (I repeat, MAYBE) It's easier for you to travel to some other place to watch a band. I have to wait here arms crossed for a good band to come to my city. And most of the times we get power cheesy metal shows...
That's why I'm so hyped about this one.

Orphaned sister
Have lots of fun. I thought that Mexico was quite the metal country- along with Brazil? But ofcourse the place is so huge, that it takes a long time travling if you have to go to another city to see a shoow. Hell, maybe the whole of Mexico City is as big as Holland?

I just get home from the airport after meeting Orphaned Land there. They are A W E S O M E! Really great guys down to earth and funny! My god, Kobi is tall! he had to stand down in the sidewalk and we all over the sidewalk to match his height for the picture! They were tired as hell for a 17 hours flight. Hope to meet them again before the signing session. If I can't, well, at least I'll see them there and at the show.
Hope they have a great time in my country.

I went to the airport too!!! It was great!! although we had to wait for a while, it was really worth it, they were very nice with us although they seemed tired...and who wouldn't be with such troubles in the airport...
anyway, it is always good to meet someone you admire...

I just find it ironic that he acknowledges the fact that the band was tired after 17 hours of flight (who wouldnt?) and yet at the same time is upset because the promoter dude didnt let me go with them to the hotel to have some more pics and signatures.
Of course I understand that one wants to meet and spend time with the guys behind such wonderful music, but on the other hand, theres a very thin line between meeting them and pestering them for signatures on a paper when theyre probably very tired just so you can prove you met them or whatever. Especially if there was going to be a signing session later, why not let them rest? Why criticize Kreator, which are great guys and a great band, just because their promoter was making sure they got enough rest after touring day after day after day after day? Seems very fanboyish to me.

Ok, let me give you a little more details about that conversation in the airport...
We all were heading to the van where the promoter was taking them to the hotel, so I asked Kobi, Am I going to see you tomorrow (thursday)? he said, of course, hang out tomorrow morning and we'll see you in the lobby. I told them it was great that way. A little after all the band gathered for the picture I already posted, Yossi told me, hey why don't you come right now with all of us to the lobby of the hotel and we hang out? Of course I said yes, but the promoter guy approached to me and told me not to, because it was confidential and yadda yadda. Because Kreator didnt want anyone else to know where they were. then, all went inside of the van and left. Next day I didn't go to the hotel because I didn't want trouble between the promoter and Orphaned Land because of me going to greet them.
Next, tomorrow (friday) at the signing session, Kobi apologized at me because the promoter didn't let me go with them. (no need to apologize, but he is a class guy). He said that Kreator told the promoter to be a bitch and not let anyone approach to the hotel and blah blah blah. That's not nice in my honest opinion, but whatever...
