You have to know that when you`re talking about OL which are indeed awesome but still relatevly new in the international metal scene, you talk about a bunch of really nice guys !

I bet that if you`de meet them, you`ll feel very comfortable with them because of their warm israeli character. Given the fact that it's their first show in the americas, im sure they`de be really honoured to meet guys like robert.
On the signing session after last year's RTN show (turky) the guys set about two hours with the fans n all, thats while katatonia and formar maiden singers gave less then 45 minutes.

Well, I am glad all is cleared up concerning the why knot's and all.
I think the reputation of OL being very loud and havind big crowds in their hotel lobbies proceded them and that is probably the real story.
Hope you had a great time at the show and hanging out!
I am off to Portugal tomorrow for a short vacation and will catch up on my reading inhere on april the 6th ( in case anyone is missing me)

I love Sirenia as well......
and didn't have the chance to see them live.....but I believe Tristania is better on stage......cause they have more experiance......and because they have Vibeke (she's a queen!)

i saw Tristania (live) 2 times. At first it was for 5 years (with Morten Veland in Spremberg) and they was very good on stage. Than I saw them in October last year (in Berlin) without him ... it was not bad ....not very bad...ok they ware horrible! Anyway ... i saw in january this year Sirenia in Berlin too. Well Sirenia are much better than Tristania on stage now, and i think it is because of Morten. He wrote earlier the songs of Tristania he made the show and he was "the Band" indeed. He make the same now for Sirenia.

Well i think that's why the new Album "Ashes" is so bad....i was very disappointed of it.

Well....I can't really know.....cause I've seen only that gig without Veland....
and I believe that Sirenia are better on stage......
as I think that Sirenia are better than Tristania (of these days).....they are more original and interesting.....

but after few listenings to "ashes", I have to say......it's not that bad.....there are some very good songs.....
and Vibeke is a goddess!

She might be a goddess, but we are talking musical qualities and I have to agree to the statement that they were a far better live band on the widows weeds tour! I did like the performance of Sirenia best on their first tour, the latest tour I found to be a bit of a disappointment really.
And Tristania- well, they have their moments every now and then, but they will never reach the hight of quality they had on the first tour.Whether Vibeke looks good or not....

unfortunatelly....I didn't have the chance to see Sirenia live so far.....and I hope I will see them in the near future.....
and I really loved their both albums.....very much.....

but Vibeke has real great voice (in my opinion) and high singing quality.....i've seen it live at the m'era luna.....
I remember you weren't so interested about their gig......isn't it?
but I found it quit good.....

I was very much interested! I have always liked their stuff very much- just do not like the last album. I saw the whole show and enjoyed it very much, you could see they were doing much beter again, unlike the tour before this one.
Vibeke is a great singer and performer, that is the thing I always liked most about Tristania.

accept the idea that i liked "Ashes" (I guess i'm the only one in the world who liked it!!!).......
Equilibrium and Endogenisis.....are real great songs.... in my opinion.....
