|,,/ ( NOT \,,/ ) looks more realistic though b/c of the angle of tilt of the fingers... look carefully, they don't go on complete opposite sides of each other like the \m/ does, which is not too realistic-looking. Although this is true (to me, at least), I will admit that I too am pretty old school about the whole thing ... \m/ is what i learned to use, and i will keep on using it
