Machine Head tour?

I just overheard rumours that Machine Head are coming down in October........ anybody got info?

Apparently they're booked at the HiFi in Melbourne on October 3, but there's no dates listed on their site between September 5 and October 30! Have to wait and see about this one.

They were spose to come out in April but for whatever reason the tour never happened. We had a gig booked with Black Steel, and BS had to change it because the booking agent/promoter for the venue was planning on Machine Head playing the same night. I was actually ringing the promoter, trying to get us the Perth support, but it was never confirmed and obviously didn't happen.

So I'd say there's a good chance the tour will happen as they were obviously keen on coming down, although I haven't heard anything official or unofficial. Todd if you find out any info could you let me know so we can try and get the Perth support?

Oct. 01 - Brisbane, AUS - Arena
Oct. 02 - Sydney, AUS - NSW University

I think the majority of their current set list is the old classics and alot of material off TTAOE. Almost nothing (if anything at all) from The Burning Red or Supercharger

I still don't have TTAOE, despite how fucking awesome Imperium is. I should pick it up and make it to the gig.

I read that Exodus, Overkill, Death Angel and Flotsam And Jetsam were touring Japan and trying to tour here bfore or after it. That would be awesome. I dont think its going to happen though
