I use the MR8s and like them a lot. Once I treated my room I was able to really get a feel for them and they seem to offer a pretty good and true frequency response. Good value as far as lower priced monitors go.
You might want to spend the little extra and get the Yamaha HS80 or HS50s since people on here seem to LOVE them. I've heard them mentioned near Adam A7's a number of times and that says a lot.
A good friend of mine mixes on a set of HS50's with a sub and he swears by them. He happens to be my bands Front of House sound guy so I really trust his ears and opinions as far as speakers go.
In my opinion if you go with either the HS's or the MR's you're going to be very satisfied.
