Maiden on Rage tonight.

As you may or may not know, Rage is being programmed by Powderfinger tonight, and Maiden is reputedly high on the bands influences.

Along with Maiden, there'll also be some Kiss and a few other bands worth checking out. And just for Wrath, Hello Bulldog by The Beatles

Very strange that Powderfinger get all the attention and praise from the critics and win industry awards by the bucketload, yet two of their biggest influences (KISS and Maiden) are universally panned or ignored. Where's the justice?

Yep, tuned in completely by accident and saw the clip for 'Number of the Beast'.

It took Powderfinger three albums before anyone "recognised" them.
