Major labels to stop using CD format by the end of 2012?

I find this incredibly hard to believe, the industry would implode if this happened. But I thought I'd share this, I know that we have some sincere love for the physical format on here.

I stopped reading when I saw Ultimate-Guitar in the link. That site is total shit and refuse to read anything on there.


Also, I agree, the industry would be dealt a near crippling blow. Fuck downloads, CDs/vinyls all the way.

Who gives a shit about the major labels anyway? I don't buy anything from the major labels, and who cares if they are not going to use cd's anymore that doesn't mean cd's will go extinct. Just like vinyl, cd's will be around just not as easy to access through normal stores.
