STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NECROPHAGIA
ANNO 2002
THE NEW FACE OF FEAR

Necrophagia released the following statement:

The line-up of Necrophagia includes
Killjoy
Iscariah
Frediablo
Fug
Mirai Kawashima
Wayne Fabra

Members had this to say

Mirai
"I still remember how I was shocked to hear the Necrophagia
tracks on Thrash Metal Attack/Speed Metal Hell 3 compilations.
I never imagined that I'd join the band 15 years later!
The new Necrophagia album will be the heaviest and the
creepiest album on the earth. We will destroy!

Iscariah
"I am really confident at this stage, and Im sure this will bring my
soul to hell. Cant wait! Necrophagia will rule at all shores and
beyond! More Blood, more gore, more everything! Hail Satan! 666"

Fug
"I feel that Necrophagia has become the ultimate killing machine. I'm
really excited about the endless possibilities. Worship at the alter
of Ola Foss, Lasse Issern!!!!"

Frediablo
"We are taking everything to the next level without loosing our
identity. I truly respect what the band has accomplished in the past,
but this is easily the best material ever by Necrophagia. We can't
wait to get everything recorded and take this vision of horror out on
the road"

The band will begin recording their new album titled
"The Divine Art of Torture" released through Season of Mist on
Halloween 2002. Songs will include:

Rue Morgue Disciple
Blaspheme the Body
Tombs of uncreation
Flowers of Flesh and Blood
Faceless

Killjoy describes the new material as very heavy, violent and horror
filled. It is in many ways a homage to Brazilian Director
Jose Mojica Marins aka Coffin Joe. His films are extremely blasphemous
and his visions directly influenced the mood for writing
"The Divine Art of Torture". Necrophagia also plans to work with
Mr. Marins on a video, as well as appearing on some new kult
horror/gore DVD which will be announced shortly

Necrophagia still plan to record the long anticipated Harvest Ritual,
but as guitarist Fug recently stated, "It still needs some work
because it's going to be the ultimate horror metal release and we're
still in different stages of the song writing process. We want to
make certain we are completely satisfied with every aspect of the
album."
