This has been a nightmare.

I bought Progressive Foundry and much to my surprise it arrived today. This was a birthday gift to myself. Awesome? Seemingly. However, the USB drive is completely fucked. When I plug it in, all of the files are corrupt. When I try to start the sound installer, I get the Windows message that the file in inaccessible, it may be unreadable or corrupt.

I tried to copy and paste the data to my HDD, and then tried to set the path in SD2. Unfortunately, the name of the library displays as a bunch of symbols and trying to select it for use crashes SD2. So now, I'm going to waste 18 hours downloading this and I HOPE that installs correctly.

I posted about this on the TT forum and sent in a support request. But I figure that the long download may be faster than waiting for support or waiting for a new thumb drive.

I tried to scan the drive for errors in Windows, but it reported back that there were no errors.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening with the Progressive Foundry USB drive? Or has this happened to you?
