Any of you have you samples on a another drive?

Ive been rocking 1 500gb drive lately, but i just bought myself a barely used 1TB hard drive.

C:/ = 500 gb
F:/ = 1 TB

I decided to drag my METAL FOUNDRY and AVATAR sound libraries over to the F:/

After fixing the correct paths i opened Metal foundry in SD 2.0 it was working but then i went to change the snare REAPER locked UP. wtf? Had to restart computer.

Whenever i try going between Metal Foundry and NYAVATAR Reaper locks up, the hourglass comes up and it freezes, wth is going on? it wasnt doing this before. It seems like if i try moving anything during LOADING SAMPLES it will stop working.

Should i uninstall SD 2.0 completely and reinstall everything on my F:/ drive? can that be the problem.

Should i format the new used f:/ drive completely? (i didnt do this initially).

Yeah I do but I installed them there initially when I installed superior.

Well i realized if i select "cached" it seems to be working fine. as long as i dont try doing too many things at once.

I run all of my samples, SD2, EZD, SSD 3.5 and 4, various kontakt libraries, from an external drive.
