This is an ironic - and relevant - topic, as I'm currently making compilations for my older brother. Apart from 'Princess Of The Night' he does not know any other Saxon material.
However, I decided to break the collections up into 3 compilations, because I think (down to his taste) he will take to the modern Saxon quicker than the older stuff - So I'm working on Early stuff 'Saxon' - 'Crusader'; Mid-Stuff ''Innocence' - 'Dogs Of War'; Later Stuff 'Unleash' - 'Lionheart'
I've finished the later stuff compilation. These are the tracks that I have put down in order to get someone hooked on Biff and the lads, not necessarily my personal faves.
Once I get my Bro hooked on the later stuff, he's going to get a compilation of the early stuff!
