I was at the Raskas Joulu or whatever the hell it was called (I'm sure Aki will correct me) last year. I didn't understand a goddamned word, but it was awesome to see Marco and the rest of those nutty Finns do XMas carols in Finnish.

Nothing to correct on what you said, you got it right this time
I saw this year's edition of this tour about 10 days ago - this time it's called "Raskaampaa joulua" which means "Heavier Christmas", a VERY entertaining show this year too. Marco, the Machine Men singer Tony and the singer of Suburban Tribe (Ville Tuomi) all did a great job.
They have also released two studio releases with these heavier versions of Christmas songs - all of the lyrics are in Finnish. Marco sings a couple of tunes on both releases, this year's one also has Tony Kakko of Sonata Arctica, J-P Leppäluoto of Charon/ex-Poisonblack etc singing. Here's a link for ordering the latest studio one from my local store: link - won't exactly be cheap though.
Tarja is on Christmas tour now too, they broadcast a 80min show of hers in TV last Saturday but I managed to miss all but last two songs, she did a good job with the Finnish version of "Silent Night, Holy Night" (I have a recording of this on my PC if there's some Tarjaholic out there who needs it) and "Walking in the Air" which is the only NW-related song she does on her solo gigs.
I see you said NW-related so you probably realize it's a cover & not a NW song. ^_^
Never really been a fan of christmas albums unless there's a big enough twist to the music so the Marco one sounds entertaining.
