While it's nice to have a quality sounding live MARDUK dvd, one can't help but feel a little ripped off at the fact that you get two shows of the exact same setlist. Nevertheless, the performances are good, the sound is a little clearer and the camerawork only slightly more pro on the Poland show, but with neither show really being better than the other.

First up is Paris, with the opening "Blackcrowned" blaring from the speakers as the band takes the stage. As they blast into the first track from their World Funeral opus, one thing becomes glaringly apparent. Somone should've opened their mouth and told Legion to put on a fucking shirt already! His horrible dance/stage moves, and his jelly belly make him look like a black metal Ozzy, especially during "Wolves." Now all he needs to do is scream "clap your hands goddammit!" Admittedly, he comes pretty damn close. Brutal as fuck, both "Azrael" and "World Funeral" are definite highlights of the Paris show, with the latter employing good use of strobe lights. However, I find myself once again thoroughly distracted by having to watch Legion's jelly rolls bounce up and down during "Hearse." Thankfully, full fucking fury is unleashed during "Of Hell's Fire," the sole track from Nightwing to be featured on this setlist.

Moving on to Poland, which actually occurred 4 days prior to the Paris show. First thing noticed: Legion is sporting a leather upper body harness, thus holding his shit in place, preventing the rolls of flab from being released upon an unsuspecting crowd. "With Satan and Victorious Weapons" sounds just like the cd version, damn near pristine. At the end of the song, the crowd sounds very anxious and hungry for more, and there is a cool shot of the audience panning in from the back of the venue towards the front of the stage as "Azrael" begins. Like Paris, their performance is great, their drummer having filled the shoes of their former longtime skinsmen quite nicely. I will personally have memories of this show now, as my almost 3 year old took a facedive into an awaiting baby car seat during the last two tracks, and damn near put her right eye out.

The four tracks from the show in Germany are great in a few respects. One, they're not featured on any of the other shows. Two, Legion is now wearing a long sleeved shirt. Perfect. Third reason, "The Black" features a reunion with former vocalist Jocke Gothburg. The two video clips are your standard performance video clips, but man, Legion looks really retarded with his moves and the leather jacket with no shirt on underneath. Maybe getting rid of the guy will be a blessing in disguise, with a new album in the works, we will soon find out.

Verdict: Fans pick this up, it is a worthy addition to your collection. If you're sitting on the fence, you may find yourself laughing too hard to take it all seriously and to those who've never liked them, this would probably be further ammunition for your dislike.
