Have you been to the Mean Fiddler in London and if so do you know how big it is? I'm gonna be in Cambridge Sept 4-9 but Opeth have a date at the Mean Fiddler on the 8th that I might head down for.

The only time I've ever been there was at 4 in the morning pissed out of my tree when it was the only club that would let us in (it happened to be a gay club that night and I pulled a rather lovely looking bird). It didn't strike me as being particularly large, but hey, I was too busy making sure I didn't get taken home by a lesbian to really notice.

I don't know if I can make it now as the schedule for my conference is gonna clash. They had to go schedule my session for that afternoon/evening didn't they?!?! Depends what time it starts. I could brave going to Birmingham a couple of days earlier, but I'll have to see.

Also looks like I'm gonna have a Friday afternoon and evening in London which I guess should be interesting.
