Oh god, these DI's :lol: In b4 anyone mentions the "squelchiness" of the palm mutes, that was a picking technique error on my part that has since been remedied! :D

Anyway, I'm at my singer's house listening on his BX5a's that I don't know too well, Mikael, so my opinions may change (and of course it's hard to gauge without a mix context), but for now I'm liking A the best; B and C sound pretty similar here, both with the fizz peak shifted up to a more annoying spot than in A IMO, and D just sounds kinda "furry" and unpleasant. So yeah, actually come to think of it, I'd say A>B>C>D IMO! :D

I like A and B. A sounds a little brighter. Could be a good thing. B sounds full to me.

It's actually my fav

I'm really surprised to hear this Markus because I thinked you prefered bottom speaker:u-huh:

A= slant L
B= bottom L
C= slant R
D= bottom R

All was miced with a sm57 put on the cone (position 1A) at 3mm distant to the grill.
But first I was surprised to hear how much difference this speaker have (if I reference with Xes shootout it's just shocking imo).

Btw thanks for give your advice:rock:

No problem dude - and actually, I ordered them wrong, because I downloaded them and put them in a folder (where they were alphabetized), then listened :goggly: So to revise, my favorites go in alphabetical order of the file names, so I guess that would be B>D>A>C :D That said, as I mentioned I didn't notice too much of a difference between what I guess would be D and A (even though A was a top speaker), so who knows!
