You could get into some of the other bands though. I HIGHLY recommend Gorod, both albums are amazing technical-yet-unpretentious death metal.

Birdflesh's new one is great like all the previous one, also Brutal Truth playing their last show is worth going they were mad when they played mtl. Fuck the Facts are really good live and thomas lindberg (ex-at the gates, disfear) is a former skisystem member.
