Hey guys!
I just picked up a copy of Cubase 6.5 and I'm loving it. I would like to master my projects right in Cubase, but don't know where to start. I also heard of being able to apply your mastering chain right onto a mix, DURING the mixing process. This would help me as I frequent turning the volume up during mixing just to hear kind of how it would sound mastered, then I turn it back down and tweak.
Any help on how to do this would be super appreciated, thanks!

Well you can't really do mastering (really pre-mastering) in Cubase. Sure you can do the sonic side of limiting and EQ'ing and all that. But it can't do the red book CD layout stuff or even burn CD's.

That is what Wavelab is for. On the cheap CD Architect works really well but only uses Direct X plugins, so you would have to do the sonic work in Cubase.

But for just getting it loud and proud, well then just process on the stereo bus.
