Masters of Death Tour

I got my ticket tonight for the Masters of Death tour hitting London on Saturday:

ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, GRAVE and UNLEASHED.

Ooh yeah! Has anyone had a chance to catch this tour? I think it will be great.

The main thing I am wondering is how the different bands will compare to each other, because there is very little between their four approaches to metal! Maybe it will be four very similar sets?

The other question is who I am looking forward to most. I have been listening to Where No Life Dwells a lot over the last few days, and I'm excited about seeing Unleashed live. I have seen Dismember and Grave live before, and both were thoroughly rocking.

Entombed I haven't seen before, and I only have their (albeit notorious) Left Hand Path album. Believe it or not though, I don't find it overly classic. I much prefer records I have from the other bands.

Should be a night of anyway!

Dismember were great live, grave were good and if I judge by one of the Unleashed live album they are great aswell live. Entombed will be a hit or miss.

Seriously? Get Into the Grave and You'll Never See pronto!

The former is some of the most crushing, brutal (not in the blasting sense) death metal I know of. Right up there with Rottrevore.

Unleashed actually slayed the whole night. So much passion.
