yes you do. I recommend buying it. hell, I'd say buy the vinyl, the artwork is amazing!

it's like they kept the brutality and the speed and added interesting riffs and excellent song structure.

I like this album quite a bit. I'm planning on seeing them with Slayer and Killswitch Engage in late November. As far as the artwork, I'm planning on ordering the poster sometime soon, which is basically and extended version of the cover, with 3/4 of the poster below the surface of the water.

My roomate got the album last week but I have yet to give it a spin.

He said he likes it less thank Remission, but he's more into stuff like eyehategod and soilent green.

I'll check it out this weekend.

Mastodon has been funny with their album art, i mean OK Remission says MASTODON and then has a horse, and this one says MASTODON and LEVIATHAN. I mean come on that's so silly

Glad to read some positive echos for Leviathan... I personally love the album, in a different way from Remission. I was sad to see how much of the press poopooed it for not being as "insert adjective here" as Remission.

Their artwork is really phenomenal, it's actually what got me interested in the band to begin with. I had no idea what to expect, bought Remission 'cause of the cover, I've yet to get over it.

Leviathan has a bonus audio DVD with it, and that cover art is awesome. So is the album, especially the monolithic epic Hearts Alive. One Relapse release that completely deserves the miles of hyperbole...well, almost.

Not a fan of Mastodon for some reason. Everytime I listen to either of the album all I can think of is how Today is the Day has done pretty much the same thing, and more, with better results...
