nothing new, and a lot of plugins do it by following the tempo map without having to do the math

man the math you did was the hard way round.

60,000/BPM= 4th note in ms
60,000/BPM*1.5= dotted 4th in ms
60,000/BPM*0.667= triplet 4th in ms

^ That's what I use! However my favourite go-to delay work in 10ms stages, so it doesn't do every millisecond, so if I'm working on a song at 165bpm I can't get 727ms, damn,
