Can anyone else hear the lyrics? Are they actually there at all (mixed very low, perhaps)? Or are they just given as a descriptive text for the track, without actually being present on the studio recording?
I was wondering this once before too. As far as I know there are not any lyrics in it, or at least I certainly have not heard them.
I have also just played it with effects applied to it... I sometimes play stuff like this because it seems to filter out the lyrics better and make it easier to hear them. Noticed some stuff that I hadnt really heard before in there, but no lyrics.

neither me... I`ve just listened to it a few minutes ago on a normal cd player.. but I couldn`t hear anything just the music.. that is very expressive.
They are simply there to elaborate and add a more of a visual context for the imagination while listening to the song; Alliteration for music if you will.
I think it works very well though. I was a bit dubious about the track at first; I thought it sounded quite cheesy, but reading the unsung lyrics really smoothed that over for me. It's a method I can't recall seeing in many other bands.
