Our good friends Just Say Rock promotions are bringing one of the all time masters of Black Metal, MAYHEM (Norway) to Oz!
Our own very LYCANTHIA will be opening on the Sydney show only but the whole tour promises to be amazing.

IMMEDIATE MAYHEM TOUR PRESS RELEASE Mayhem Australia/New Zealand Tour Postponed to later in 2008 Due to the recent amendments of the entertainment visa requirements set by the Australian Immigration Department, Mayhem will not be able to get their visas approved in time for their scheduled Australian and NZ tour dates. As a result, tour promoter Just Say Rock in conjunction with Mayhem, have decided to postpone the tour to later this year. All parties are now working on new dates for the Mayhem tour. The new dates will be released ASAP. Any patron wishing to obtain a refund for their current ticket can do so by returning it to the point of sale to get the face value refunded. However; ***ALL CURRENT PURCHASED TICKETS WILL BE VALID FOR THE NEW DATES, ONCE THEY ARE ANNOUNCED.***

This is not looking good at all with long serving guitarist Blasphemer very recently having left the band.

The word i'm getting is that even with Blasphemer's leaving of the band the tour is still not being cancelled and should be going ahead sometime later this year.That will be indeed great news if it's in fact going to happen.
